My Question or Issue

I have been a diligent playlist maker for years. A hobby of mine for a long time has been sorting songs I find into the playlists I have that I feel they fit into. Often times, it is multiple, as I have well over a hundred playlists, each with their own unique vibe/purpose. However, a few updates ago, the Now Playing screen started switching to the playlist screen every single time I hit "add to playlist" on the song menu. So now, it is so many extra steps to add a song to multiple playlists, because I have to tap on the song to get back to the "Now Playing" screen every single time. It has become rather infuriating, to the point where I have songs piled up that I want to add to other playlists, but don't want to deal with the frustration of such a task.

Is this a bug that needs to be fixed? If so, is it being worked on?

If it is an on purpose function, I am absolutely not a fan. If this is an unpopular opinion and most users like it, though, I'll just put up with it. However, if there is ever a way to add the function to mobile versions of selecting multiple playlists for a song to go on all in one go (kind of like how YouTube does it), that would be even more helpful than how it originally used to be. Just a thought!

We've tested this on our end, however, we couldn't reproduce the behavior you're describing. Would it be possible to record a short video of how things look on your end and attach it to your reply (or upload it to YouTube or Google Drive)?

Also, please let us know your exact Spotify version.
