Spotify adding songs to playlist

My Question or Issue

In the last couple of months, Spotify keeps playing random songs while I’m playing my playlist, and found they are being added to my playlist. I am getting cross at having to keep deleting. I pay family premium and have been a premium member since the Spotify service began! The songs I choose are a history of MY life, not to be messed with by the company that I have been paying specifically so that I could personalise what I listen to!!!

Rant over! Does anyone know how to get Spotify to fix this for me? I don’t want to mess around with it anymore right now. I do not have access to a laptop atm, and my patience with ’self help’ is running out.

Thanks for reaching out about this in the Community!

This could be happening due to a number of factors. Please check the following:

Make sure your Play Queue is cleared before playing music. You can clear it by clicking the Queue button > Clear queue. This option should be available on Desktop and Mobile.
Make sure that Enhance is switched off. This button will appear on top of your playlist. If it's turned on (green) it will automatically add similar songs to your playlist.
Make sure Shuffle is turned off.
