Songs download while on cellular?

My Question or Issue

Hey, I have a problem where songs that I add to my playlist gets downloaded wether I’m on WiFi or not. This is causing large data usage. I have the download via cell option unticked in settings. This happens both on roaming an “normal”. How can I resolve this?

That's not cool, let's see how we can help.

Just to confirm - after you untick the Download via cellular setting on you phone, use Spotify and then go back to Settings later, does the option still stay unticked?

Can you try reinstalling the app? This will help shake things up a bit.

It'd be useful to tell us when was it that you noticed this thing first happening. Also, what's your Spotify version?
