Profile View Update

Spotify had updated what you see when you view your account profile. I personally really don't like it because I want to see what other people will be looking at when they view my profile. There is a button to see the old profile layout, but it's only to "preview" it. Meaning you can't actually push any of the buttons on the screen, it's just a picture so you still can't see the old layout of your playlists. I messaged a representative and they basically said there's nothing I can do about it. I want to see my profile how other people will see it!

Thank you for reaching out here in the Community and apologies for the delayed response.

It sounds like you’re seeing one of a few changes we’ve made to Spotify recently. At the moment, you can preview how your profile looks to other users by tapping the three dots menu > Preview profile. You can still access your playlists and Recently played artists while in preview mode.

We're always testing new things in order to improve the user experience and gather feedback on different features, so you might see something on the app your friend doesn’t, or get a brand-new feature for only a temporary period. The purpose of these tests is exactly to help us refine the app thanks to your input. You can learn more about that here.
