Repeat mode automatically activates.

I have set spotify playlist as a alarm on my android phone and when I play any song or album after it goes on repeat mode automatically, so I have to turn off each day manaully.

Welcome to the Community and thanks for bringing this to our attention.

This might be caused by an issue with your device's cache. We'd recommend taking a look a this page to see how to clear your cache.

Do you have the Autoplay feature on in your settings? Also have you tested if the repeat mode will activate if you don't have a playlist as an alarm on your phone?

Does this happen on other mobile devices as well, for example you can try logging in on a friend's or a family member's account to see how it goes.

1. I tried clearing the cache multiple times before from the Spotify application.

2. Yes, the autoplay feature is 'turned on' on my device.

3. Yes, repeat mode activates by single songs as well.

4. No, I haven't tried it on another device. I will do that and will update you.

Hey @Amithaldar,

Thank you for keeping in contact.

We appreciate all the info you included in your previous response. Taking this into account, it's possible that the repeat button was active before setting the alarm and that's why it keeps activated. In this case, we'd first recommend turning the repeat button OFF in the Now Playing View, making sure it's "not green" before setting the alarm and closing the app.

We'd also recommend turning the Autoplay OFF to see if it makes any difference.

Lastly, if the issue persists, include in your next response the make, model, and OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

We'll be on the lookout.

Please don't treat us as dumb asses. And asking for individual users' specs. This **bleep** been happening for YEARS now and nobody likes it.
