Old local files will not delete

My Question or Issue

Hey guys, I'm having a pretty annoying issue. My iPhone always says "Waiting to download..." when I already have my whole library downloaded on my phone. I'm trying to get rid of these local TOOL songs when 1. they are already gone from my computer, 2.have deleted the local files file under Spotify directory and 3. re-installed Spotify. That's the only thing I can think of that's causing my phone to say "Waiting to download..."

Welcome to the Community and thanks for getting in touch.

Great troubleshooting so far! What we can suggest now is that you start off by opening the app's Settings > Scroll down to Local Files > switch Show Local Files on > remove the source/sources where the songs you see were located. After that you can switch Show Local Files off.

You can also give it a try performing a thorough uninstall of the app with the steps in this Spotify Answer instead and reinstalling it one last time.
