My spotify playlist plays like a radio in my android phone Instead of behaving like a playlist

My Question or Issue

My spotify playlist plays like a radio and I'm not able to change or skip my songs in the queue. Nor I'm able to visit my what are the next songs playing in my queue. I've tried reinstalling the app and clearing cache etc. but I'm not the facing the same issue in my desktop version. Kindly help as its frustrating to not change the songs or see whats the next song which will play.

We understand you’ve already tried some troubleshooting steps including reinstalling, but to be sure that we're on the same page - did you use the steps for a clean reinstall mentioned in this article? If so, and the issue persists, it would also be great if you could have someone log in with their account on your device - such as a friend or a family member. This will help us understand if it could be account-related or not.

Lastly, include in your next response the OS version of your device, along with the Spotify version you're currently running to continue investigating the case.

Hi @OscarDC,

I tried every step in the article you provided and even logged in through my friend's account but its still coming as a radio instead of playlist. As requested SPotify version is 8.8.76.667 and my Android version is 13 and my One UI (Samsung) version is 5.1

Would be super helpful if you could help me resolve this issue

Just to confirm, is this only happening with one specific playlist? If so, send us its URI? We'll take a closer look.

Additionally, would you mind sending us a short screen recording of the issue happening so we can take a closer look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).
