How to stream desktop local songs on iOS mobile [spotify premium]

Hi - I have added some local files to my Spotify Desktop app - songs I own, but aren't in Spotify's library. I created a playlist and can now play these through Spotify App on Win11 desktop.

How can I stream these same songs on my iPhone? I've tried downloading the playlist, but the 'local' PC files are greyed out and can't be downloaded or played on my iPhone. Please help! Thanks.

Same issue here, got the songs tried moving it to my iphone and added it into the "files" app just like the others. Now both files are on pc and iphone and I've added both to my liked songs but I now see 2 versions of the same file with differing lengths as well as being unable to transfer from my pc to my iphone using the connect feature... Seems they keep messing with the way to do it and make it more complicated each time.

Thank you for reaching out to the Community and welcome.

The process to add audio files to the Spotify app has been changing since a couple of updates ago. If you want to play Local files on your iPhone, you need to have the audio files stored on your device. You can find the full process in this article.

Yea but if i add it on my iphone and save it and also save it on my pc. They are 2 completely different files in my liked songs and then when you switch from phone to pc or vice versa, it says the file doesnt exist cause they are somehow different. I just want it to work like it used to for the local files....
