Album versions should be merged, so if there is a deluxe edition of an album or a remastered version for example, they should be the one that shows up on the artist discography and in the recommendations on the home page. Also, if I have an album saved in my library, and a deluxe edition is released later on, the version in my library should be updated automatically.

Hey @user-removed,

Thanks for your post here in the Community!

We'd like to start by mentioning that it's already possible for different album versions of an artist to be merged together, but this is something that is established by the artist themselves.

An example for that can be seen on the PC Spotify app by scrolling down in an album where you'll see the button 1 more release if there's another version of this album.

Hope this helps and we're here if you need us 🙂
