Vast majority of songs disappeared from my liked songs

My Question or Issue

Most of the songs in my liked songs have just disappeared. Years of collecting music vanished. I can't find the songs by filtering my liked songs. The song count at the top of the screen still says over 1000, but there's less than 100 actually visible.

Hi @in_limbo!

That's odd. Could you share a short screen recording which captures how things look on your end? It's worth checking if all songs show up properly on another device or on the Web Player.

If you haven't already, try logging out and signing back in to your account twice in a row - this will trigger an internal refresh of the app that may help here.

Hi Yordan,

I managed to fix this - it seems like it was a UI bug. I selected one of the filters (Atmospheric, Indie, Metal ect) that appear at the top of the Liked Songs list. Nothing changed. Then when I deselected the same filter, all of my songs came back. It seems that some kind of filter was applied without the accompanying UI feedback of the filter in question appearing, highlighted, at the top of the list.

My Liked Songs Are Disappearing

About a month ago I noticed that some of my Liked Songs were no longer there. I don’t really make playlists so how I listen to music is exclusively through my Liked Songs Playlist where it just has everything.

Occasionally I will try to discover music and something will pop up that I know I liked but the checkmark is missing to show it’s been added. So I’ll re-add it without thinking much of it up until a month ago when listening to Hozier who has been a long favorite of mine.

I specifically know this is an issue because when his latest album released in August, I went through the entire album because my boyfriend really loved some of its released songs. I definitely liked the ones that he and I had already been listening to, as well as a couple others. Well a month ago I went to that album and absolutely none of them were liked. I was astonished because I definitely added them back in late August.

My boyfriend just yesterday made a comment that his latest favorite song that he’s repeatedly been listening to in his “Current Favorite” playlist was removed and no longer under “Liked Song.” Is this happening to anyone else? I don’t understand and it is quite upsetting when I have over 2,000 songs I listen to and could possibly be losing without my knowledge.
