Downloaded Playlists not working in Offline Mode

Hi, I've been having an issue since yesterday that when I activate offline mode on my Galaxy Note 20 Ultra, some of my downloaded playlists appear without a cover and won't load. I have restarted my phone, cleared cache, reinstalled the app, and it hasn't been fixed.
It happens when I immediately activate offline mode, and when I restart the app some playlists do load and others are as I mentioned above. If it helps, the app is updated and my downloads are in an SD.

Is there an actual fix for this or is it an app bug? Thanks

Thanks for reaching out. Could you please provide us the following:

Is this on all devices or only on the aforementioned Samsung?
Are only specific playlists consistently affected or is it sporadic?
If you don't turn on offline mode but just disconnect the network connection, do they work then?
If you move the files to be in the internal storage instead of the SD card, does that make a difference? See these steps.

Try these out and let us know how it goes.

Hey, I will answer each question.

I only know of it happening of my Samsung phone, don't know if it's on all devices.
It's sporadic, it happens to any downloaded playlist.
If I disconnect the network connection, it has the same effect, the playlist can don't load.
I tried it with file in the internal storage before the SD, and it still didn't work.

It happened to me again, and I don't really know what to do.

It'd be very helpful if you could check with your account on any other device in order to see if the issue persists there. We also recommend checking your internet connection to ensure it's stable and trying to download the content with a different connection.

When it comes to the SD-card, cache stored on it can cause issues with Spotify's performance so it's also a good idea to remove the SD-card, give the app a clean reinstall (different than a quick one) and then download the content again, directly onto the internal storage without placing the SD-card into your phone.

I can try the clean reinstall later since I'll be busy, and I can also confirm that my internet is stable. For context I took a video about what happens.

Hey, I tried to clean reinstall, and it didn't work. Any ideas? I also think that it has to do with the fact that I use folders.

Folders shouldn't be an issue, but if you want, you can try downloading a playlist that's not in a folder.

Another thing that's worth checking is your phone's settings. Samsung phones have multiple layers of services that optimize the battery and memory usage and they tend to cause issues with some apps. Make sure you've disabled them or that Spotify is set as an exception there. For a more detailed guide on how to do this, please reach out to Samsung support.
