Local files folder not appearing on iOS app

My Question or Issue

I want to add local files to my Spotify mobile, but the local files playlist has never appeared. When I toggle on "Show audio files from this device" it says that local files were added to my library, but they aren't there. It worked on my laptop, but not on my phone, how do I fix this?

Thanks for reaching out about this and welcome to the Community!

Just to confirm, have you tried following these exact steps? Also, keep in mind that you need to have the files stored in your iPhone locally.

On another note, are you able to see some of the files or you don't see any of them? Sending us a screenshot of what you're seeing on your end would come in handy. You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert image option in the post editor. Make sure not to send any private info.

We'll be on the lookout.

I did follow those steps, but I’m not even getting the local files folder at all. It’s not under my playlists.

It looks like other users have been having the same issue and one of them posted a solution here. Could you give those steps a try to see if they work for you as well?
