Yes, I totally agree. There should be an option to deactivate songs of the category audio-book for the release radar playlist.

Hey there @Robert105,

Thanks for reaching out!

While it's not possible to completely remove tracks from your Release Radar, you can choose to hide tracks from the playlist. If you're using Spotify on your phone, just open the Release Radar playlist > tap the 3 dots next to the track you like to hide.

Once a track has been hidden, similar ones will be suggested less frequently in your Release Radar in the future.

We hope this helps. Cheers!

I think many users, including OP and myself would appreciate the option to simply have a Release Radar without any audiobooks.

Sorry. Better not reply at all than post such BS.

Think about it. We are talking about new releases. How someone would know...what's behind a title...maybe music...maybe an audiobook

We just want listen to new music....one track from between 30 tracks of a complete audiobook isn't so sweet

bad proposals in release radar

I have about 5 playlists with different styles. I also often listen to audio books, but i haven't saved them in a playlist or liked them in any way. However, the Release Radar shows me about 90% of audio books and just a very few songs. What can I do that the release radar focuses on the music that I saved in the playlists and finally ignores the audio books?

Hi Elena

Thank you for the feedback. I did this all the time without success. The "hide" function does not influence the Release Radar at all, at least not what I've experienced.

I really experience the same problem every week, and this now for months.

Kind regards, Rene

Hi Elena, support team

I still experience the same behaviour, I get more than 80% of audio books in the release radar. The "hiding" feature does not work at all, at least not in my account. The release radar has unfortunately become completely unusable for me and I hope for quick optimisation.

Hey there @RE_E,

Thanks for keeping us in the loop!

Hiding tracks should affect future recommendations, but it's currently not possible to completely exclude certain suggestions from the list. You might, however, find this idea about being able exclude albums related to audiobooks from Your Taste Profile interesting, so feel free to check it out if you haven't already. You can also give it a thumbs up, if it sounds like something that might be useful in your case as well.

Hope this clears things up! We're just a post away if anything else appears.
