Can Recently played artists in my profile show my liked songs saved in my library and NOT songs by said artist that Spotify says is recommended/popular? I have liked songs for a reason so they can be quickly and easily accessed. My library is now based on recommended artists and not recently played as I had become very comfortable with. I do not prefer playlists and prefer rotating through recently played artists for a time then move on to others. Any suggestions?

thanks for reaching out about this !

The "Recently Played" is part of the app nature and built.

Therefore, you will not be able to remove it completely or change it with another section from the tabs you see.

However, you can remove contents from the "Recently Played" section by doing the following:

Open the Spotify Desktop App
Enter the Recently Played section
Hover the mouse cursor over the content you wish to remove
Find the three-dots menu on the right of the content image
Select Remove From Recently Played
