Shared playlist will not open

I shared a playlist tonight from my library onto social media. Everyone says it will not open. It shows the band and songs but clicking on them does nothing.

Just to make sure we're on the same page, your followers can open the playlist, however, the songs inside cannot be played, correct? It's possible that they are local files, meaning they can only be played from your device, where they are stored on - others will still see the playlist's contents, but the songs will be greyed out and unplayable (since they are only available to you).

If the songs are from the Spotify catalogue, perhaps they're unavailable at the moment. As much as we'd love to have all the music in the world on Spotify, the content may vary over time and between countries. This depends on permissions from rights holders.

If your followers are unable to open the playlist at all, make sure you've set it to Public. More info on playlist privacy here.
