Removing current song from Liked Songs will restart queue from beginning of list

My Question or Issue

Usually when I listen to my Liked Songs, I sort the list by recently added and pick a song to start. I let the queue continue to play without shuffle and when I come across a song I no longer like, I will remove that song from the list. Once removed, the queue will restart from the beginning of my Liked Songs.

I tested a couple cases here:

Choosing a song halfway down the list to start the queue
Changing the order of the list by sorting

In both cases, the queue will restart if I remove a song. But it will keep the order that the Liked Song list is sorted by.

Has anyone else noticed this? Does it sound like a bug? Wouldn't you expect the queue to continue playing with the next song instead of restart from the beginning?
