Liked songs missing

My Question or Issue:

I recently got this new phone from having an IPhone 13 Pro Max. I saved everything as usual but when I downloaded Spotify all my liked songs were missing, I went from 20,000 liked songs to 3,000. I did everything suggested (a deep clean of the app, uninstalling, offloading data, reinstalling app, etc.). Is there any way to recover all those songs, why did this happen?

Thanks for reaching out. Liked songs wouldn't be deleted without clear reason, so more likely there is some account discrepancy here. Do you see the same across all devices including the webplayer? Consider also checking if you aren't logged into a different account.

I’ve tried multiple devices, my laptop, phone, etc. and it’s all the same. I’ve checked other emails I might’ve used but I’m logged into my account so I’m not sure what’s happening

By any chance, do you still have access to your previous iPhone to check if all songs are displayed over there? If so, could you tab your profile image > Settings and privacy and check the email address you've registered on that account and try to log in with it?

In case you don't have access to the old phone, would you mind trying to check if you have a different account with the options mentioned in this article?

We'll be on the lookout.

I do have the old phone and it said the same thing, all my songs are gone. Which was so weird, I’ve previously linked my Facebook and gmail to the account which is why I thought it would’ve been saved. But I tried the other email I have and it doesn’t have an account linked to it

Thanks for keeping in touch.

Is it only your Liked songs that are missing? Or are you missing any other playlists? In the meantime, try logging out and back in, but do it by writing your email and password or the Facebook option, don't use the Google option for now. Let us know if anything changes when doing it.

I didn’t really create any other types of playlist, I’ve had friends who shared and they are all still there it’s really just my songs that are missing.

I’ve tried logging in the normal way, google, and Facebook but it all stays the same.

I really appreciate all the help and responses!!

The songs which are in my favorite list is gone.

I changed my phone and wanted to install Spotify again. I logged in and saw my like a hundred I guess songs disappeared in my favorite list. That's so sad
