I've hit "not interested" on several podcasts and audiobooks over the last few months but it hasn't stopped them from being recommended to me. What's going on? Is this a bug?

My Question or Issue

I’ve hit the “not interested” button on several inappropriate podcasts many times but they keep being recommended to me. If i’m not interested, it means I do not want to see it. Is this a bug or is something causing them to reappear?

Same problem. My interpretation is that the algorithmn used to promote these podcasts is more powerful than the button. Idk. Less and less impressed with Spotify.

Same. They are all scammy tech bro investment podcasts too. I have now selected not interested on one 7 times on different episodes. Rated 1 star. Wouldn't be surprised if this is another paid amplification by Spotify recommendation algo even though I already pay them a subscription.

Spotify should be broken up for their monopoly on streaming. Otherwise it incentivises this sort of enshittification.

My Question or Issue

I'm tired of marking a podcast show as "I'm not interested", when I do that, I receive the feedback from the app "We'll show you less this...". This is a lie! After doing this for more than 40 times I still getting the podcast I don't want in my Home Screen.

Why Spotify does not fix a fundamental feature like this? I should have the basic right to handle what I receive as "recommendation" with the podcasts. Instead we have a selector for our "pronouns" that flawlessly works. Is it a coincidence that the suggested podcast is done by a victim of intellectual disabilities (lefties)???.
