Empty songs files

Hi everyone

I have a problem with my library, I have a list of “empty songs”.
I cannot delete them and I cannot know which kind of song they are, title or artist.
also when i play the playlist it skips some songs like they are not there.

Hey @AndreaParro,

Thanks for posting in the Community and for the screenshot!

This could be corrupted cache (which can cause different issues with Spotify's performance) so if you haven't already, we recommend clearing the cache and giving the app a clean reinstall. You can follow the steps here.

If there's no change on your phone, test on a different device to see if you're able to view the songs there.

If the issue persists it'd be very helpful if you could send us some more details. Does this happen only with this specific playlist or with multiple ones and when did you notice this? Are the songs in the playlist local files? Is it all the songs that you don't see the name of or just some of them?

Hello,
I just saw the procedure and for a clear reinstall means all my songs will be deleted??? To many, it will take ages to add them one by one again.
Another possibility? Thanks

Thanks for the response!

When you do a reinstall, the downloaded content you have for offline listening needs to be downloaded again, but your songs or playlists won't get deleted from the Library, so no worries 🙂

We recommend following the steps for a clean reinstall and the other troubleshooting steps in the previous post to see if the app's behavior would change.
