Welcome to the Spotify Community!

You can prevent Spotify from playing a specific artist's songs via the mobile app by going to their artist page and tapping the three dots menu > Don't play this artist.

It's worth mentioning that the setting doesn't affect songs the artist is featured in, and if that's what you meant, I recommend posting an idea about it on our Idea Exchange board. Others can then show their support by giving it a thumbs up and sharing their feedback.
