Plan: Spotify Premium

System: Amazon Alexa (if that even matters)

I hope some of you experienced Spotify-Users can help me:
I'm planning from switching from Google Home to Alexa. Since Alexa doesn't support YouTube Music, I would also have to switch to Spotify, which I'm trying out now.

So far I told Google: "Play music". YouTube Music would then play a mixture of tracks that I "liked" (I mean with thumb ups), and tracks that are new to me based on my likes. Every time I asked for it, a whole new playlist was created, even the first song was different each time. I loved it.

With Spotify, I have so far found out that I can:

- ask for a specific song. Result: The song is played, after that it's suggested songs.

- ask for a specific playlist. Result: It plays my playlist, after all songs are through, it plays suggestions.

In both ways, after I ask for music the next day, it plays the exact same song order (starting with my requested one since the playlist doesn't change).
Can I really not do anything like YouTube Music with Spotify? That would decide it for me to stick with Google, even though the **bleep** me off by deactivating the media alarm.

Hi there @zagawiguay,

Thanks for reaching out. On Alexa you should have the option to say "Play Spotify" and that should just start a mix of recommended tracks. Try this if you haven't already and see if it's what you're looking for.

Hope this helps.
