My Question or Issue

Hi, a while back I accidentally deleted the local files playlist that Spotify creates for you to listen to local files, I have tried all methods to get this back, including looking in the recover deleted playlist option, and even doing a full wipe of the app, like deleting all the files, the app and data etc…

when I toggle the local files playlist option for Spotify to put it there, it never shows, I’m wondering if there is any way I could get local files back onto Spotify without having to create a new account.

Thanks for reaching out!

We tried deleting the Local Files folder but deleting it is not possible. There is no such option on any platform.
The only way to make it disappear is to tap on the profile picture -> go to Settings -> Local Files and toggle the local files off.

In case enabling this setting doesn't make the folder show for you, could you let us know if the same issue persists on a different mobile device or platform?
Keep in mind that the folder will not show if no local files are physically present on the device.
