Im blocked on spotify, will our mix still update as normal or pause?

My Question or Issue

so my ex girlfriend has blocked me on spotify, but we had a blend and currently its saying shes listening to music that's on a playlist i made for her,, and has been for a few days. is this old and from the day she blocked me or is it still updating like normal? the only reason i ask is because she was the one who ended things so its confusing it says shes listening to a playlist i made her and that doesn't make sense to me. 😓

extra info; we've have the blend for a few months, i haven't blocked her or removed her, and it says '? + hallow, a blend of music for hallow and ?. updates daily.'

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Friend Activity aims to connect users together in their listening experiences. When someone is blocked they automatically are unfollowed by the blocker and the listening activity is no longer available. If you still see an activity that might mean that the user has unblocked you. You can read more about how blocking and Friend Activity works on our support site here.

We would suggest performing a clean uninstall. If you still receive updates on what the user is listening to then that would mean you are not blocked.

I don't think they're referring to the listening activity part. They are referring to the blend as it says that it updates daily, does it still update if the other user on the blend is blocked or does it stop updating and shows only older music that you both shared in common. That's what they're asking I think.

Thanks for your replies.

When a user is blocked they still have access to the playlists. This is because playlists have a separate permission system.

Bear in mind that if the songs added to the Blend playlist have been listened to by any of the users, the playlists will show that. This means the user has listened to that song before, not because they're listening to it at that exact moment.

If you feel like it, you can go to the Blend playlist > 3 dots > Leave Blend.

We understand this could be different and improved, and we'll pass your feedback to the team in charge.
