Thanks for reaching out here in the Community.

There's currently no way to play only the artists you follow if you don't have their songs in a playlist. However, other users also think this would be a good idea. In this case, you can add your vote and subscribe to this thread. That way you can stay up-to-date with any relevant news about this.

If anything else comes up, the Community will be here.

I've done as instructed. However the number of votes didn't change when I
voted, it remained at 499. I find this peculiar.

I also find it peculiar that this has been an open item since 2018. How
long do people need to ask for something from Spotify before action has
taken. Apparently it's more than 6 years!

I wonder are there any other media players out there who will allow this as
a function, and I wonder what they like my money instead.

This doesn't address why this has been an outstanding issue for YEARS.

What does it take for Spotify to action what they're subscribers want.

I'm seriously considering taking my subscription elsewhere.
