Spotify keeps adding songs to my playlists

Recently I've noticed that Spotify keeps adding songs to my playlists. These playlists have 300+ songs that I've curated over the years. Even if I delete the new suggestions, there's a new one added 3-4 songs later. I made my playlists private and this still happens. Anyone know how to stop this?

This sounds like it could be related to Smart Shuffle. Could you share a screenshot, so I can take a closer look?

Tu check for Smart Shuffle, you can notice the icon on the shuffle button. If it has a sparkle (✨) you can turn it off and see if that makes any difference. For premium users, in a playlist with more than 15 songs, Smart Shuffle recommends one song for every three tracks.

I am having the same issue even when I do not have smart shuffle on. It's like it's always on, and the only way to avoid the added songs is to turn shuffle off completely, which I'd rather not do. Any ways to fix this?
