But I found it frustrating that the Spotify UI keep changing and made these features hard to find. They used to be available on the homepage, then they were relegated to a button on the search tab, and now they appear to have gone completely? What is going on?

I had noticed the daily mixes appeared to be less random than they used to be, and often repeated the same songs. Would it be possible to have a setting (like a slider) that one could move between "More variety > Less Variety" - musicmatch player used to do this in the MP3 days and it was great.

Another way of solving the problem of having the Daily Mixes constantly move in the UI would be to allow people to customised their own home page.

If you have removed the Daily Mixes, can you please reinstate a feature that allows you to create a random list based on your previous listening. It should not be that hard - without such a feature I may consider going to another service.

Joe

The Daily Mixes appeared on my home screen again today - yay, but for how long 🙂
I did experiment with SmartShuffle, however I was surprised that it kept choosing the same songs to add to the upnext playlist, why would I want to hear something again from only a few tracks ago. Just checking that the song it is about to add is not already on the queue would be an easy tweak to make to the algorithm?
