how do I add rss feed podcast to my spotify?

I do have link for rss feed from podcast, but I didn't find anywhere in spotify (both app and desktop) where to add the link.

On another note, if you're listening to a podcast and you want to find it in the app - we'd like to inform you that this is not possible at the moment.

It's literally not possible right now in Spotify to take your RSS feed from another hosting service and paste it into Spotify.

Ughhh spotify needs to spot finding a way to charge us for content we already paid for. So dumb. I'm starting to think id rather go back to mail ordered content like before the internet was a real thing. Digital medias rights are thin anyhow.

Hi everyone,

I’m trying to add one of Japanese podcast to Spotify using the RSS feed, but I keep getting the following error message:

“The link to the RSS feed you added belongs to another podcast.”

I’ve double-checked that I’m using the correct RSS URL from stand.fm and that my podcast isn’t already registered under another Spotify account. However, I still can’t proceed.

Has anyone else faced this issue before? Is there a workaround or solution to get my podcast listed on Spotify?

How an application bills itself as a podcast client without allowing users to add custom RSS feeds is beyond me.

I know it's not your fault but that's absolutely ridiculous you can't add a podcast to follow by rss feed.

Yes. Spotify is not a podcast app. It is a multimedia app. Podverse is specifically for podcasts and has ability for custom feed links so you can get your feeds from paying directly to creators.

Spotify does have a way to implement paid subscription feeds through a third party. You click into their side and give an email, then they will add it once they check with the content creator that you have the paid subscription.
