Playlist disappeared

My Question or Issue

My Playlists that I've created have disappeared before but I could just search the name in the main search menu and it would show up, but this time it isn't showing up, it been gone for some days now, i didn't click any options that would hide the playlist, I just opened the app and it was gone...

That's odd! Playlists don't disappear like that. Do both your devices show the same scenario?

Anyway, my first suggestion is that you double check if you logged in a second Spotify account:

https://www.spotify.com/account/overview/

If the account you're logged in is correct, you can also click on "Recover playlists" to see if they were deleted for some reason.

I had to restore the playlist like you said, it's strange how it got there...

Hello, I have Spotify on Mac and have the same problem. All my lists, including "My favorite songs", have disappeared, but I can still see them on the web browser and on my phone. What can I do? Should I reinstall Spotify on Mac or look for a previous version?

I lost all my playlists trying to setup a duo account for my other phone. But I couldn’t access my playlist even after the set up on my main phone. I logged out and tried logging in but couldn’t find any of my playlist. It’s all new now. What do I do please.

Thanks for posting on the Community.

When your Premium time is up you only lose access to the Premium benefits. Your Library contents (playlists, liked songs, etc.) remain intact. If you’re not seeing your liked playlist it’s possible that you’re logged into a different account. For more info in regards to this check out the solution in this thread.

Happened to me as well. 2 different accounts, 2 different phones. Mine and my daughter both on the same day, same time lost our lists. They show empty (but list is there if I want to edit the list). List shows fine and works on website, not on app.

spotify web works just fine but the app doesnt. It doesnt have any problem letting me log in or opening up but i cant play any playlists or songs. I have public playlists and they show up both on my phone and on the web but on the desktop app it asks me to create a playlist and non of my playlists show up. and it doesnt even let me add any songs if i want to create a new playlist.

I have tried to delete and download the app multiple times both from microsoft store and from spotify.

If anyone knows how to fix this problem please help.
