Is there a way to NOT have your recently played on the home screen update everytime getting into the App? It's bothersome that the playlist shuffles around and I have to wait before clicking on the playlist I want- as a mom and teacher, I need those extra moments back, please!

I understand your concern and I will make sure to pass your feedback on to the right folks. Regarding how frequently it updates, there isn’t a specific interval set as it’s based on how often you use the app. Typically you may want to give it 30 minutes or so for the app to fully update the Recently Played section. There isn’t a way to manually update the Home page unfortunately.
