liked list keeps jumping back to top

every time I go to my liked list and scroll down to a song, it jumps all the way back to the top of the list

this is very aggravating I pay a monthly fee for Spotify if this doesn't get fixed soon, I will go back to pandora.

I'm sorry to say but Spotify has a horrible customer service support I know a few people who unsubscribed from Spotify and have gone to radio paradise which is free for the most part or they go to a paid scription to pandora.

Welcome to the Community!

Does the same thing happen on multiple devices and have you tried any troubleshooting steps so far? We recommend giving the app a clean reinstall with the steps here as it helps resolve different issues with Spotify's performance.

If it's possible, give it a try by logging into a family member's or a friend's account on your device to see if that changes anything.

I've been having this issue for MONTHS on my phone. I haven't tested on other devices to see if they're affected. But my mums phone dies rhe sane thing. It used to put itself at a specific point now it goes to the top. It used to alo pretend I didn't have as many songs as I did as the scroll bar would be huge ad I could only scroll 20 songs down. When that stopped I now get thrown to the top of my list when I was 2,000 songs down.

Just to confirm, have you tried performing a clean reinstall of the app by following the steps @Ivelina sent previously? If not yet, we suggest that you give those steps a go to make sure you get rid of any cached files that might be causing trouble.

Also, does the same happen with other playlists as well or does this only happen with your Liked songs? If it only happens with your Liked songs, is it a large playlist? Keep in mind that large playlists can affect the app's performance.

If the clean reinstall doesn't do the trick, would you mind sending us a short screen recording of the issue happening so we can take a closer look? You can attach it to your next response by using the Insert Video option in the post editor. You can also upload it to Google Drive and share the link with us (make sure the video has the permissions for anyone to see it).

Lastly, sending us the exact make/model, operating system and Spotify version of your device would come in handy.
