Hi @Rishika19, thanks for reaching out!

You're right—this can happen when a playlist is deleted or made private by its creator. Unfortunately, if the playlist is no longer accessible, the app can sometimes get "stuck" trying to access a resource that doesn't exist, which prevents actions like unpinning or removing it from your library.

Even though you didn't say what devices are you currently using, let's first try to solve this issue by using Spotify web player.

Just go to https://open.spotify.com and log in. Then, open your Library or navigate to your profile and check your pinned playlists. Try removing or unpinning the broken playlist from there. Sometimes the web version can succeed where the app fails.

You can also use Spotify Mobile App. Open it on your phone or tablet, go to Your Library > Playlists, look for the blank playlist in your pinned section and tap the three dots (…) next to the playlist to Unpin from profile.

If that doesn't work, clearing the cache might reset your profile view. On your desktop app, go to Settings > Storage > Clear cache. On mobile, go to Settings > Storage > Clear cache.

Let me know how it goes!

I had a playlist of Harry Potter Audiobooks by some random creator saved in my library and pinned to the top three. It most likely got removed by Spotify due to copyright issues. That is understandable.

The problem is that I cannot open the playlist anymore which means I can't remove it from my top three pinned as well as cannot remove it from my library. I don't have any solution. To remove it, I must open it but that's not possible anymore so I'm stuck here...

What do I do?

Plan

Free

Country

India

Device

Operating System

My Question or Issue
