It is odd. I made a playlist with spotify songs and MP3 of my local library

Playlisr of 51 songs. 9 are MP3 at my local files. The odd is, at PC I can play all 9, but only 8 was downloaded at my android phone

Hey @leo3487, welcome to the Spotify Community! 🎵

The local files feature was updated a while ago. It no longer syncs the files directly between devices (it still syncs the songs in playlists as usual), instead you must have the copy of the local files on each device where you want to use it.

You can check out the guidie for local files in this article.

Let me know if you need help with anything else. 🙂

Hey @leo3487,

Thank you for your message.

Jumping in just to mention that if you're using an Android phone, when you turn on the Local audio files option, the app will display all audio files (with supported formats) stored on your device. You can find this option under the Android section of the article previously mentioned by @Amay.

At the moment, you cannot select a "source" folder for your Local files on the mobile app. If you also want this function implemented on the mobile app, we'd recommend voting for this idea so it could eventually reach the relevant departments to be taken into account.

Hope this clarifies things a bit. If anything else comes up, the Community will be here for you.
