add local files to playlists

hi guys i have trired all the steps in other posts and nothing has worked so far

none of my files are protected. how ever using quicktime still does not let me play the file, using vlc works so i am confused. i looked in the details part of the .mp3 file and under "protected " is states "NO"

please help. i do not want to remake all my playlists i had with itunes

Note; i am not an apple user, i just used itunes for when i used my ipod (back when i didn't know about spotify )
