For PC/Browser: At the top of the playlist, click the three horizontal dots. After that, click "Edit details". Now you can edit your playlist name, description and photo.

For Android/iOS: At the top of the playlist, click the three vertical dots. Then, click "Edit playlist'. Now you can edit your playlist name, description and photo 🙂

There is no 'edit details' item in the menu that pops up when I click on the three dots at the top of the playlist.

Please check your answers carefully before posting.

Thanks for posting in the thread and for sharing your feedback with us!
Keep in mind that the user reply you're referring to is from three years ago, which can sometimes mean it's no longer fully accurate and that it should be taken with a grain of salt, as app features and their place within the app can vary from time to time.

With this being said, the 'Edit details' button can still be accessed via the three-dot menu on desktop, as long as the playlist you're looking at is made by you. Alternatively, you can simply click on the title, which will open the same edit dialogue window.

Note: The same functionality can be found on mobile as well, although the name of the function is different than 'Edit details'.
When selecting the three dot menu on mobile, look for 'Name & details' 🙂
