Clearing my cache emptied my playlists

As the title says, when I cleared my cache in the app, it emptied all of my playlists. All of those songs are just gone. Is there any way I can restore them to how they were without having to do it manually all over again? Thanks in advance

Hey @Rex23, welcome to the Spotify Community! 🎵

Cache doesn't include persistent storage items like downloads or the actual content inside your library (like the songs in a playlist). Clearing the cache should not affect anything except remove the temporarily stored content so you don't need internet access the next time you play them.

Could you check if the same playlists are emptied out on other platforms as well? You can test it on the desktop app or the web player.

My playlists haven't been emptied in the app on my laptop or in the browser version. it's exclusive to my phone

Would you mind logging out > back in twice in a row into your account on the mobile app? This would resync the account and app.

It'd also be great if you could send us a few screenshots showing how the playlists appear in Your Library, as well as how some of them look when you've opened them (make sure no sensitive info is visible such as your username for example). You can attach the photos to your next response via the Insert Image option in the post editor.

We're here in the meantime if anything else comes up.
