My Question or Issue

I used to be able to drag down to reveal search bar, but that feature is gone now. Searching inside playlist become very difficult since i have a very large playlist of 3000+ song and i have to scroll to the top just to search or re enter my playlist. Please bring back the drag down to reveal search bar. This is not the update that we want, bad UX

Thanks for reaching out. We'll happily help you get to all your favourite tunes across all playlists.

This is very much still a feature, so let's get to the bottom of why it isn't working for you. Be advised that this search bar only appears on your own playlists and doesn't work for playlists created by others. To get the bar to appear, you have to be at the very top of a playlist and then pull down. This won't work if you're anywhere further in.

Test this out thoroughly and let us know if it still doesn't appear. Also check if the behaviour is the same across all playlists or only specific one(s). Try performing a clean reinstall too as this can help resolve many technical hiccups like this.

Yes, if I'm on the top of my playlist, I can pull to show search bar

But back then I can pull to show search bar anywhere inside my playlist, that's what I'm looking for

At the moment, it's only possible to access the search bar from the top of the playlist on mobile. We’re regularly looking for opportunities to enhance the user experience for everyone though, so your feedback on this is greatly appreciated.

Same, this was definitely a feature even as recent as a few weeks ago. It's clearly been taken down so I'm not sure what the moderator is missing.

Yeah, why was this done? It was perfect when you could search anywhere within the playlist. Now you have scroll all the the way to the top of the playlist to search? To quote the original poster: This is not the update that we want, bad UX. Please bring it back.
