Some daylists are great, but then they change and the previous list is lost forever. Please I want the option to save the last daylist.

Hi there @prev_daylist,

Welcome to the Spotify Community!

If you like a particular daylist's set of tracks, you can save them as a separate playlist in Your Library - that way, you can access it anytime without worrying about losing the tracks! To do this, just tap the thee dots menu > Add to other playlist > New playlist.

Hi Yordan,

I just want to note my experience with this and why saving previous daylists temporarily would be nice. I just opened my spotify app on desktop and saw a daylist mix that looked really good. However, when I tried to play it, it updated immediately to an afternoon mix that I didn't like as much. It would be helpful to show the previous 1-2 daylists so we could add them to a playlist if we'd like. As of now, the daylist I was interested in is gone for good.

me acaba de ocurrir que perdí mi daylist porque se actualizó y eran recomendaciones buenísimas, me pone muy triste saber que no alcancé a reproducir todas las canciones o en su defecto, guardar en otra playlist esa lista :(, alguien me ayuda por fa

I think the ask was to let us access to day list from the past, not to be able to save current day list.

After the playlist is updated, there is no access to it.

I vote to make it possible as important improvement.

Was listening to my lunchtime daylist today and actually quite liked it, so I decided to add it to my library.

I then went back into it later and it immediately started updating with my evening daylist.

Has Spotify thought of hiring any UX people and doing some testing to avoid own goals like this in the future?

If you save a paylist you are obviously saving a list of specific songs.

What purpose does the function to add the Daylist to your library serve then? That should save the list of songs as it was at that moment in time.

We can all come up with workarounds but it's better to make the app work properly.

Team at Spotify,

You are making really hard using Spotify and having an enjoyable user experience. I have been using it since its Beta version when it was available only in Europe by invite. That's about 20 years ago. There used to be playlists that introduced you to new songs, and the 'Song radio' used to be a great way to do this. Now there's been so many 'curated' playlists that basically regurgitate your most listened songs with one or two new songs shuffled in there, that is downright upsetting to try to branch out using one of the 'curated' playlists the app offers.

We can agree this leaves much to be desired. I still gladly pay for your subscription, even if your services have frustrated plenty of times over the last 20 years. However, the one playlist you have now that does introduce you to actual new music, each user's Daylist, you don't even bother with having the ability to see your previous Daylist temporarily. I understand coding this is not necessarily easy. However, that does not excuse you from providing this feature that most users would really appreciate. Especially, after the monthly subscription price continues to go up, and services continue to go down.

Listen to your subscribers. Do better.
