Plan

Premium

Country

Argentina

Device

PC

Operating System

Windows 11

My Question or Issue

My Spotify library isn't syncing properly on the Windows app. I've already tried uninstalling it and clearing the cache, but nothing works. I also tried installing both the Microsoft Store version and the standalone installer from the Spotify website, but the issue persists.

As you can see in the attached screenshot, there’s a big discrepancy between the web version (on the left) and the app (on the right). Everything looks correct on the web player, but both versions of the desktop app are missing several artists and albums.

Hi there @mortenanakin77,

Thanks for reaching out!

We understand how this could negatively affect your overall app experience and you’ve definitely covered some solid basics already, so let’s dig a little deeper together and try to narrow down the cause and help you get to the bottom of this. We'd recommend following these steps to see if they make a difference:

Keep the desktop app and web player open at the same time and try to change something to see if they sync

Log out and back in of the desktop app a couple of times in a row

In the app, go to Help -> Troubleshooting -> Reset App Data and Restart

Disable Hardware acceleration in the app's settings

Let us know how it goes and if you have any question in the meantime.
