My Question or Issue

First of all, whatever was changed recently with smart shuffle in a playlist has started giving me awful suggestions when playing. It use to be one of my favorite things, and I was always adding new songs from it. Now, it seems to get stuck with the same songs over and over.

My issue I noticed today was that when I turned off smart shuffle to get rid of the nothing but suggestions in my queue, it turned back on when I clicked play from my regular playlist. I paused and hit to return home several times to try and refresh, but it still turns itself back on.

Thanks for reaching out on the Community! And kudos for including a screenshot.

Just to check, have you noticed if Smart Shuffle only turns on with this specific playlist, or does it happen with all playlists?

It would be great if you could try clearing stored cache to see if you notice any difference. Once it's done, make sure to log out from the app and back in again. As odd as it may sound, completing these steps should resync the account info.

We can also recommend resetting the app data. To do this, open the desktop app > press the 3 dots in the upper corner > Help > Troubleshooting > Reset app data and restart.

On another note, we appreciate you sharing your experience with the suggestions! In this thread users are posting concerns similar to yours. Feel free to have look there, to check if it's what you're seeing from your end as well. In the meantime, keep liking/saving tracks that you enjoy from Smart Shuffle, as the suggestions should update with time.
