Downloaded Music help

I have a playlist with downloaded music in it, my friend wanted to use it so I sent him the music and he downloaded it yet they still showed up as grayed out and he can't listen to the playlist but they show up in his local files, how can he make them be available in the playlist for him

Thanks for reaching out to the Community.

Did you mean that the playlist consists of imported files? In that case you're friend needs to import them from a desktop device to their personal account as well in order to be able to play them. This page has detailed instructions on how to do this. They can either log in to their own account on your desktop on the same network or you can send them the files and they can do everything at their end 🙂
