Can't find friend who has not connected to Facebook

I am trying to add a friend to my Spotify account so I can share music with her. I don't have Facebook connected to the Spotify account and neither does she. How can we connect to make this happen? I have tried on all my clients (phone, PC, and browser) but am not able to make this happen.

Please help.

Figured it out: Find the search bar in the top left of the desktop app, or click the Search button in the web version. In that search box, type spotify:user:friendsusername (replace "friendsusername" with your friend's Spotify username)
