Payment Issues Studying discount

Hey guys,

in germany we only get the studying discount via Klarna or Creditcard. Since studying doesn t require a creditcard i don t posses one, before using Klarna to pay the bills I asked friends of mine and Klarna had a really bad ressonance so i d really dislike using it.

So here we go

I can  use Paypal as a payment for regular spotify premium.

I can t use Paypal as a payment for student premium spotify.

Why is that the case?

Hey @T32,

 

At the moment it's not possible to pay for the Student Discount via Paypal. I have no info about why it's currently not possible and if it ever will be available again.

Well thank you I´ve figured that out aswell but since you don t know the answer I m really asking myself why you did answer in the first place. Sorry to sound rude but you ve just rephrased the question.

I've replied to let you know that no other information is available at the moment. If another star would've replied, they wouldn't tell you anything else. 🙂

okay so is there any option to ask spotify directly?

Because I ve tried to write a ticket and only got redirected to this communitypage / FAQ´s. Since I have a request which can t be solved by any star or whatsoever in here there must be a solution where to head that request no?

Don t get me wrong I really do appreciate your help but you obviously said it can t be helped by the likes of you so where do I head foward now?
