Trouble getting email from Spotify (device password setup)

I need a password to set up Spotify on my DENON Ceol. When I log on to my Spotify account and try to set password through email, I get this message: "An email featuring your device username and a link to set your password has been sent to xxx" (my email address), but I haven't got any mail from Spotify. I've checked the the address is spelled right, my spam filter etc. How can I get this password?

You can also generate an App Password by going to your Facebook's Settings > Security > App Passwords > Edit > Generate app passwords.
