1 month Premium

1 month Premium

Hi,

I have a Unlimited subscription for Spotify (btw, Spotify is the best invention since the wheel - this besides) but I'm leaving on a holiday within a couple of weeks and I would like to subscribe for a Premium subscription, but just for 1 month (I'm traveling for 3 weeks and during this period would love to have some tracks on my smartphone). Is it possible to subscribe just for one month, and if so, when does this subscription start? Immediately or after the first of every month for example (in other words, when do I have to pay or order so I have a premium during this three weeks)?

Tnx!

If you upgrade to premium now, however long left of Unlimited you have will be converted to premium and you'll pay the price for premium on your anniversary date.

If you cancel it before the anniversary date, you won't be charged on that day, and you'll instead revert to free.

Does that make sense?

So, lets say I payed one week ago for that month Unlimited. I pay now for Premium, so I would have 3 weeks left of this 'month (lets say period of 4 weeks, right). Sound like most interesting thing is to upgrade to Premium a day or so before I leave on holiday?

You can upgrade to premium whenever you like, I would give yourself a few days before you go to sync offline playlists etc and deal with any issues which might come up. As long as you pay for your unlimited via credit/debit card monthly, your premium upgrade will be almost instantaneous and your remaining unlimited days will be coverted to premium days (divided in 2, since they are double the cost, so 30 unlimited days would give you 15 premium days) until your next renewal date at which point you will be charged the premium fee.

Once you have converted to premium, you are free to return to unlimited on the next payment date (you can't covert premium days to unlimited).

No.

The amount of time left on your Unlimited subscription will be converted to Premium - based on the price differences. The anniversary date for the Unlimited will become the anniverasry date for the premium & you'll be charged for premium.

If you convert to premium & cancel, you won't be charged on your anniversary date, and you can then resubscribe to Unlimited ๐Ÿ™‚
