10 hours free each month?

I'm a little confused.  Its May 1st, I turned on Spotify this afternoon for the first time this month and just got told that I maxed my 10 hours at 5pm.  How can that be?

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

The 10 hours free is allocated weekly, in chunks of 2.5 hours per week max (rather than all in one lump at the start of the month). Those weekly chunks are given to you on the same day each week, so you never need to wait more than 7 days to listen again.

The limit is actually 2.5 hours a week, NOT 10 hours a month 🙂
