10 hours limit with a new account

Hello,

I've had my profile up and running with facebook for around 1 ½ weeks but now I already have the 10 hours limit although I've read that this shouldn't be applied until you've been active for 6 months? Is there anything I can do about this?

I've had a look at your account and can see it was created through Facebook on 2011-12-30, this explains the listening limit.

Did you use Spotify around this time?

No, I haven't at all. I know my laptop came with an offer but I never signed up?

If your account was created on that date it is possible you create your account simply by clicking a Spotify link whilst logged into Facebook. 

Best option, head to the signup page and press the "Create an account using my email address option" which will allow you to create an account with a standard Spotify username and password (with no restrictions for 6 months). 

You can even connect that new Spotify account to your Facebook if you like from the preferences menu (although since you already have a Facebook account you might need to get in touch with the team here and ask them to remove that one for you).
