10 hours limit?

10 hours limit?

The Spotify software keeps saying that my monthly 10 hours of free listening are up.

As far as I understand 10 hours a month equals 2,5 hours a week so any given monday should be okay to start a new period of listening. But no matter how long I wait I still get the same depressing message - week after week. This has been an issue since late june.

Hey! Welcome to the community 🙂 

 

The 2.5 hours per week actually renews on whichever day your account was created, so it might not be Monday. 

 

If you aren't getting any listening time at all, I would suggest:

1. Change your password and request a logout on this topic incase someone else is using your acccount. 

2. Try a quick clean reinstallation of the client and see if that makes any difference.

3. Check out and see if you can play on the web player.
