Is there any plans to allow 2 devices to use the one account simultaneously.  My daughter is getting to the age where she is getting into her music and wants to listen to spotify the same time as me.

Hi, and welcome to the community!

Unfortunately, that can't happen, as it is a breach of copyright laws (piracy). It would mean the artists wouldn't get the right amount of money per stream of their song(s). You would have to get a new account for her if she wants to play music as well. If you're playing the same song and want to listen together, you can always set up a sounddrop room but you will still need 2 accounts, they can be free accounts though.

Anthony is right here, Spotify is licensed for personal usage only meaning anyone who wishes to listen to music should have their own account. Its all explained in section 4 of the terms of usage.
