Hi there, I'm new to the communty and not sure if my comment on another post will get read/alerted to someone so thought I'd just quickly start a new topic. I'm new to Spotify and want the introductory offer but it appears thorugh my sign up that it didn't apply to my account? Can someone please tell me how I ensure this happens so I don't get charged in a few weeks time? Also, does the student discount apply in Australia?

Has the payment method that you've used been used for Spotify before (eg. by another family member)?

 

Unfortunately, the Student Discount is currently only available in United States, United Kingdom and Germany.

Spotify Support can check if you're eligible for the intro offer. Just contact them through one of the channels below:

If you get an automated reply email telling you to check the Knowledgebase or the Spotify Community, you need to reply back to it, even if it's from a no-reply address. Spotify Support usually replies within 24-48 hours.
