30 day free trial

30 day free trial

I signed up for the 30 day free trial, and I gave my credit card information. Everything was beautiful and amazing, and I was enjoying the free 30 day premium. Spotify was like a dream come true for me .... and after 24 hours I said to myself, "I am definitely paying "$10" every month for the rest of my life! I love spotify!" But then,.... my freedom selection died, and there was only the shuffle button. "What is this? What just happened? Where is the free premium?" Trying to figure it out, suddenly a display said upgrade to premium to shut off the shuffle feature. Ok. So,.... I click it,.... and it is asking me for my credit card information, so I can have a free 30 day premium trial with Spotify. What?! I did that yesterday!
I have to give me credit card information, again?! Something does not seem right about that.
My 30day free trial already began. What is this?
I do not want to give my credit card information again. The first time I did it, I received confirmation that I now have a 30 day free trial, and at the end of 30days, I will be charged. And I am cool with that, because i LOVE spotify. But,.... what the hell just happened?? If I give my credit card number again, I could theoretically be charged twice at the end of 30 days, or worse, THIS MIGHT HAPPEN AGAIN. AND I WOULD HAVE TO GIVE MY CREDIT CARD 3 TIMES, just to enjoy a free 30 day trial? My free 30 day trial lasted only "1" day! :((((((((
I want my Spotify back! PLEASE HELP!

Going to hide that email address just to stop you from getting any spam.

Is your account showing as premium on your online overview

If it is showing as premium then you should be good to go! Sometimes a quick log out and back in again is needed. If you are still having issues, try a clean reinstallation of the application.

If your account is still showing as free then you have not logged into the account you have upgraded. Double check your details, its amazingly easy to accidentally have two accounts, one with a Spotify username and another using your Facebook details. If you can't find your account, don't subscribe again as you might be billed twice, instead get in touch with the customer services team directly using the online contact form and they will be able to lend a hand.

If you get an automated email reply back directing you to the community or help pages, you need to reply directly to that email (even if its from no-reply) and one of the customer services agents will get back to you as soon as possible.

Alternatively, if you prefer support via Twitter, please tweet @SpotifyCares
